* I like NOD32 enough to choose to pay for it over the free Avira or Avast (btw AVG/Grisoft sucks, your machine is not safe if it’s your only AV).

** WinRAR has nice features but 7Zip is free

*** Abbyfine rules for OCR, highly recommended for scanning large docs.
